Under ADB technical assistance TA-8935 MON, Étude carried out the alignment study for the 166.44 km Bogdkhan railway bypass around Ulaanbaatar — a route designed to take freight movements clear of the Mongolian capital. The wider scheme carries an estimated project cost of around USD 846 million.
